Pheona Kerr graduated with a degree in Fine Art and worked as a professional artist and also as a teacher.   She has expereince teaching many groups and art subjects and succesfully established her own cutting edge art department at Straclyde University over 20 years.

But it was her dream to open her own art school in Italy, and 10 years ago she arrived in Villa Minozzo (Why? I hear you ask...  'destiny' is my only answer) and has created a wonderful artistic oasis for her art school.   At the same time she began teaching English in the local high school and privately.
She moved to Italy to set up her highly successful art holidays 10 years ago.  www.artholidaysinitaly.com.   These art holidays run during the summer months with guests arriving from all over the world.   During the winter she was asked to teach English as a native speaker at the local high school and aslo at a local language school and being a 'yes' person she found great enjoyment in her new role.

Being a native speaker, she gives you the authentic 'full immersion' experience while you are a guest in her home.   She also organises little tours to the secret delights of this mountain retreat as a basis for language learning.

She also offers the best combination of teaching for Italian students wishing to learn English or art.  Learning should be fun, it should have a natural progression, and it should bring rewards quickly.
